1986 was the year wherein Corazon "Cory" Aquino was elected as President of the Republic of the Philippines. She was the icon today of Democracy - Freedom from suffering. For me, she was a symbol for great faith, trust, bravery and democracy. I was not able to meet her personally but my full salute goes to her.
I'm giving this whole page and my day today to mourn and give THANKS for her good work not only for the Philippines but for the entire Filipinos.
A Job Well Done Mrs. Cory Aquino!
We, Filipinos, are saddened by your death but looking on it on a brighter side, we know you are happy now in heaven in God's embrace.
We will miss you forever but your legacy will remain in our hearts.
We love you Tita Cory!
My condolences go to Ms. Kris Aquino - Yap, Noynoy Aquino and the rest of the Aquino Family.
