It was 31st of July 2009 when we attended the "Quick Change" by The Company and Jon Santos. The musical show went so fine! in fact, I really had a great time watching our locals performing. The show was filled with fun, laughter and dance. I even dance too! Can't you imagine that? It was my first time to attend such musical show with a stand-up comedian head by Jon Santos. Mind you, the show was so perfect for de-stressing and all. A good show for all stressed and worried people. I should say, I was able to de-stress and unwind even for two and a half hours. During the show, they're giving free CDs. Luckily, I was one of those who won. Thanks to the organizer!After the show, we went out to get my free CD and for Sir CJ to buy "The Company" album. I guess, the luckiness I had today was twice unexpectedly! I was able to meet and greet the artists and of course my all time favorite singer...LEA SALONGA.
It was during my childhood days that I kept on hearing the name of Lea. It was during "Annie" when I first saw her performing and I get to know her more when she joined "Miss Saigon". From then, I've been hearing news about her in newspapers, television and in prime time news of how great she is. I was really struck and stunned by her when I saw her today. I just can't imagine myself getting nervous and almost not speaking at all when I met her face to face. Now I can this is really a chance of a lifetime since I wouldn't know if I'll be having another face to face encounter with her again. I thank God for giving me a chance to see her personally by chance.
I'm not really fascinated with celebrities but with her I wouldn't know why my thoughts changed. Maybe it is just because a childhood dream came true today and I guess I was just lucky today though.
I thank Lea Salonga for giving me an opportunity to have a picture taken and having me beside her. Wow! what a great experience to remember!
I may now say that dreams do come true! ... at all!
