Search Engine Optimization Marketing Company
With the permission to the moderator and owner of the Company. I would like to post this article from his website regarding SEO business potential for small to medium sized Companies across the globe.
How To Easily Get A 300% Return (or more) On Your Marketing Investment Without Forking Over Big Bucks Or Signing A Long Term Contract!
Dear Small Business Owner -- What's your biggest business fear each and every day -- Month after Month and Year after Year?
Is it... -- "GETTING More Paying Customers?"
Even if you're generating enough business to be "comfortable" you're probably wondering..."what happens if my business slows down?...Will I go bankrupt?"
The Old Way To Get New Customers:
Yellow Pages
News Paper
Direct Mail
Door Hangers
Bill Boards
Radio AD's
T.V. Commercials
Coupon Mailing
The "old way" of generating new customers can work! However -- It's expensive! And you'd better be "spot" on with your marketing message and be targeting the right market, or you'll get what nearly every other business gets...A LOT OF WASTED MONEY! In this economy -- Can you afford to see a negative return on investment on your hard earned marketing dollar?
Smart U.S companies are quickly finding that the "smartest way to spend their hard earned Marketing Dollars is on Internet Marketing!
Why Is this?
1. The economy will only improve slightly over the next 12-18 months. A slow recovery means smart advertisers will continue to look for improved efficiencies in their media spending and will continue to shift ad dollars into online media, that Return on Investment can easily be tracked and Marketing Messages can easily be altered to increase conversions! This medium is much better than that blindly throwing money against the proverbial wall of print or radio advertising and "praying" it sticks!
2. Many old media companies will go out of business. In 2009, we’ve already seen newspapers in Denver and Seattle shut down their print editions. Several other newspapers are reported to be close to bankruptcy. As these publications fail, the dollars they were capturing will flow back into the market. A significant share of these dollars will go to online marketing -- good SEO campaigns which analysts have declared as "the best overall advertising vehicle with the best ROI for businesses!".
3. Online Marketing is easier to track and make changes -- When you run a print AD in the newspaper or a yellow pages AD in the phone book -- you don't have a clue "who" is looking at it and why? Online marketing allows you to track how many visitors are looking at your webpage what brought them and when they visited. You can make the necessary changes any time to ensure those visits turn into customers!
4. Consumers searching for businesses on the Internet is growing at a rapid rate. Search Engine giant "Google" has become a household name. Being where your customers are looking
will give your business a tremendous advantage over your competitors!
How GrowBiz.US Can Help You Easily And Affordably Grow Your Business:
A Typical GrowBiz Client shows a 300-1000% Return On Investment after an average of 6-8 Months in our Proprietary SEO Program!
GrowBiz provides a customized Search Engine Optimization Program That aligns equally with your Business Goals, and your monthly Budget!
It's been well documented that consumers are "doing their research" before purchasing a product
or hiring a service provider. The easiest way to do that research is...yep -- you guessed it: The Internet!
That being said consumers have a specific way of searching for particular products and services -- These are called"Key Words" or "Key Phrases". The Search Engines have tracking tools so that advertisers can gather this information and position their website strategically so that when a specific keyword is searched -- Their website is found!
The 3 Ways To Be Found In Google, Yahoo, Bing...and the other search engines:
1. Pay-Per Click -- These AD's are what keep Google making record profits in the BILLIONS! Year-After-Year! These are paid ad's, that are located normally in the top 3 positions of the page in a shaded area called the "Sponsored Links". These AD's will also show on the right hand corner of the "results" page.
Pro's and Con's -- You can get exposure to your website almost instantly! But the downside is that "anybody can click on your AD and cost you a "click" -- Click prices can be VERY expensive for competitive keywords...(Your competitors can cost you $10++ each time they click your AD.)
2. Local Search - The local search ad's usually showcase a local business and have a map next to them to show the exact location of the business address. These AD's typically show just below the paid AD's.
Pro's and Con's -- It's very difficult to rank for more than one search term. If your business is being found under multiple keywords -- choose the busiest one and base your listing around it. The Local Search can produce some good website traffic and good visitors -- every business should be in there!
3. Organic Listing - Organic listings are the listings toward the bottom of the page.- They are located below the "local listings". I like to call these positions "Prime Real Estate"...Because studies have found that searchers are more likely to click an "organic" listing than a paid listing!
Pro's and Con's - This is BY FAR the most effective way to market yourself online. Organic Search Results can produce the highest return on investment and give your business the exposure you need to grow in ANY economy! The only draw back is if your website listing is not on the first page -- your chances of being found DROP significantly! Getting listed on the first page takes time and a GOOD Search Engine Optimization Team!
SEO takes a LOT of-work and it takes time -- The number of hours dedicated toward several key functions are what bring the value of your site up in the eyes of the search engines -- (Google, Yahoo, Bing).
The goal of SEO is simple: pull your website to the top list in the search engine result page (SERP) and to drive people to your website. While many SEO companies lay claim that they can do this within a short period of time, do not be fooled or taken in by their claims. Many online SEO companies that promise that your website will be listed on Google's 1st page actually trick their customers by getting the website on the 1st page via Google maps (always listing on the 1st page) or by simply paying for a pay per click ad, then taking a screen shot of the 1st page "sponsored" ad placement. If websites can so easily reach 1st page status so quickly via organic searches, then ask yourself "wouldn't there be hundreds or even thousands of websites listed on Google's 1st page instead of just a handful?"
The real disappointment is that many of these online SEO companies charge upwards or $1200 - $2999.95 per month or MORE for SEO.
By using SEO in an effective manner, you can take your business many steps ahead of your competitors. Creating awareness is the mantra of brand marketing, and SEO helps you achieve the same in an ethical way, without having to spend hugely on massive ad campaigns on newspaper ads, radio, tv, or even billboard ads.

Although Google Makes Billions Of Dollars From Pay-Per-Click Advertisers. According to a recent Penn State Study, 84% of Online Searchers Migrate to the "Organic Listings in Google.

Website Analysis
The importance of having your website analyzed can mean the difference between online success or failure. Any type of advertising will not be effective if your site content and provides your clients with the information that they are seeking.
One of the main reasons that online advertising is cost effective and a great way to advertise your business is because you have the ability to reach more people online than you could with any other type of advertising out there. If you really want to reach as many people as possible without using a huge advertising budget, then the internet is the way to go.
Always remember that while Pay-per-clicks advertising can provide instant customers for your business, the effects are short-term and once PPC advertising stops, your customer flow also stops.
Banner ad click-through rates have fallen over time. When they first started to appear, it was not uncommon to have rates above 5%. They have fallen since then and are currently averaging closer to 0.2 or 0.3 percent or less. A 2% click-through rate would be considered very successful. Again, with this type of advertising, your customer flow will stop once you cease placing banner ads as your form of advertising.
Many companies sell varying forms of targeted traffic - either targeted hits, targeted visitors, targeted e-mail campaigns, etc. We don't recommend purchasing this type of advertising as you will find that they will not produce the results you seek. One highly regarded source of ours provided the following figures for 50,000 targeted visitors that they "tested" with one source providing these types of traffic: Out of 50,000 visitors - Traffic volume was 91% accurate, Traffic Quality (actual visitors) was 0% accurate, Average Visitor Duration: 1 second, IP location: Various, and Delivery Time: 96 hours.
Beware of SEO companies that: Guarantee rankings or 1st page placements - Especially if they claim that they can do this within 30 days, 60 days, etc. SEO companies that lock you in with an initial payment for a 6 month period should be carefully scrutinized.
Since you'll be paying for over $2,000.00 and up for a 6 month SEO program, you need to do your research and know that your investment will have the high return you seek.

WHICH HAS BETTER RESULTS - SEO OR PPC?
"According to Jupiter Research (a Forrester Research company), 81% of users find their desired destination through a search engine. This research makes it clear that it's very important for your brand to have a strong presence in the search engines, ensuring that you're in front of your target audience.
However, there's still a big decision to make - whether to use SEO (Search Engine Optimization) or PPC (Pay-per-clicks) to get in front of your target. Done correctly, both can get you on the front page of search engines, however, each has its respective benefits and costs.
SEOmoz, a great SEO resource, recently published an article by the team at Enquisite quantifying the effectiveness of SEO vs. PPC. The article details that organic results (SEO) are 8.5x more likely to be clicked on than paid search results. That's a large disparity and is likely attributed to searchers gradually learning the difference between organic and sponsored results, and recognizing that organic results are typically the more respected resource.
However, PPC hold a slight edge in conversion rates, as paid search results are 1.5x more likely to convert click thrus from the search engine. The SEOmoz article attributes, to the fact that the paid search result's "text and landing page is custom optimized by the advertiser."
So, looking at both of these numbers, it can be concluded that "the opportunity from organic search is 5.66x that of paid search." Given the flat out choice of ranking high organically or having great PPC ads - the overwhelmingly logical choice is organic. However, we all know it's not easy or else those "Rank #1 in Google TOMORROW" ads would be much more effective. True SEO takes time, not get rich quick schemes.
SEMPO, the Search Engine Marketing Professionals Organization, estimates that 87% of search engine dollars are spent on PPC vs. 11% spent on SEO efforts. That's more than $10 billion spent on PPC vs. just $1 billion spent on SEO. That means for the strategy that's over 5x more effective, SEO is only receiving 1/8 the media spent in the market!
When it comes to the long term lifeline of your internet marketing, the result is clear- SEO offers the better value in search marketing. You won't rank #1 overnight and it takes months of consistent SEO marketing, but SEO is more affordable and the longterm benefits have been proven."

What is the most effective online advertising for small businesses and what can you do to make it MOST effective?
1) Map out a plan! Every business must have a budget for advertising. The well known fact is that if people don't know about you or your site, they certainly are not going to find you or your website. Determine what your budget should be to bring new customers to your site. 2) Write down your goals and realistically target specific dates to reach your goals. 3) Research all possible advertising vehicles that are affordable and within your budget. Don't believe everything you read. Advertising vehicles such as e-mail blasts, targeted e-mail blasts, targeted visitors to your website, guaranteed sign-ups, website hits, etc. that promise thousands or millions of visitors to your website usually do not result in any generated sales for you. Don't waste your money! If you want to try any of these, try $10 worth of targeted visitors and you'll see that you might as well have spent it on a coffee and donut instead. 4) Pay per click advertising and banner advertising can be effective, however, they can be very expensive.....and, sometimes it can be hit or miss - with results varying a lot depending on your product or service. Before you spend money on these vehicles, make sure that your website is analyzed, optimized, and focused. This way, your results will be much better! 5) Select a good SEO campaign. The one thing you don't want to do is to lock into a 6 month SEO campaign that costs you $1,800.00, $2,400.00, or $3,000.00 or more. Look at what is being offered for the price that you will be paying. One thing you don't want to do is spend big money to find out that your SEO program usually takes 4-6 months before you see any kind of results. Then when you stop your service (usually after 6 months), your site is no longer being optimized and your visitor count goes down dramatically. Also check to see how many work hours are dedicated to optimizing your site. This is an important factor and most programs really don't dedicate too many hours to your site - so don't be fooled by SEO programs that can't give you this information. 6) What's a good plan before you decide how to advertise your site? You must ask yourself this question before you advertise. You must map out a plan before you start - or have someone that can help you, provide you with good, sound advice (not just someone who wants to sell you their advertising program). Our main purpose is to provide you with information that makes sense, while helping you to succeed! The longer you're in business, the longer we'll have you as a customer - it's a win-win situation, don't you think? Good SEO Is Only 1 Part of Your Website's Success. Here's why Some Sites Are Effective and Others Are Not
More than 90-95% of all new online businesses FAIL. Here is critical information that can help your online business succeed: 1) Analyze your website or get your website analyzed. Even web developers and web development companies fail to construct strong, effective websites for their customers. If you depend on online sales, then constructing your own website is very risky if you are inexperienced. 2) Find out if your website is optimized to sell your product(s) or service(s). Is there anything that you can do to improve your site? What are the important points that your website should convey to your customers? 3) Have you done a market study to compare your viability in the marketplace? Who are you competing with, what are you offering that makes your company stand out? Why would someone who doesn't know you purchase your product or service? 4) Finally, if your website is not effective as your salesperson, why advertise? Any type of effective advertising program will not work effectively if your website is not optimized and focused.
